It has been a year since Bollywood’s power couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot in a private ceremony at their Mumbai home. On their first wedding anniversary, both families took to social media to share heartfelt messages for the couple.
Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir’s mother, posted a picture of the couple from their wedding ceremony, which also featured a framed photograph of Ranbir’s late father Rishi Kapoor. She captioned it with “Happy anniversary my beautiful people. My heartbeats. Love and blessings” along with some emojis.
Soni Razdan, Alia’s mother, shared their wedding album and wrote, “On this day last year my sweet hearts promised to be with each other through thick and thin and through good times and all kinds of times. Happy anniversary you two. Wishing you both a joyous journey onwards…”
The couple, who had been dating for over five years, had a low-key wedding in front of a few family members and close friends. They welcomed their first child, a baby daughter named Raha, last year in November.
Alia has previously praised Ranbir as a “gem” of a person, calling him “supremely simple” and “way better a person” than herself. Despite rumors and speculation, the couple has remained strong and continued to give us major relationship goals with their love story.
