Ameesha Patel recently gave Bollywood Hungama an exclusive look at her pricey bag collection, which is equally stylish. The actress admitted that her Hermes Birkin is the priciest purse in her collection and said that one could buy a house to replace it. Ameesha Patel described her suitcases as “the Rolls Royce” “If you tell me which bag I would like to call the ‘Rolls Royce’ of bags, then it’s the Birkin by Hermes. It’s the most sought-after, and difficult bag to get. You can be on a waiting list for five to ten years and not even get it after that. But I didn’t have to wait very longe. I was fortunate.”

Ameesha continued by saying that the cost of each of her Birkin bags is approximately Rs. 60 to 70 lakhs, and that they are less expensive than the purses possessed by superstars like Victoria Beckham and Rihanna. She also mentioned how individuals wait years to have a fancy purse specially made for them and added:
“The one I have is a croc Birkin. The exotic skin is the most valuable, like you can buy a house in place of this bag. That’s how you know the price wise and difficulty wise it is. This bag is the most expensive. It’s a Birkin and a crock, so the price is now about Rs. 60 to 70 lakhs. The ones that have Victoria Beckham and Rihanna and all have diamonds which go into millions, so this is actually very cheap compared to the bags they have but this is the most expensive bag I would have in my collection.”

Ameesha continued by saying that she is a complete Birkin girl and owns a total of 16 Birkin handbags in her collection. She also admitted that owning a Birkin bag might be difficult and added: “Birkin on its own is very difficult to get but when it comes in exotic skin which is ostrich, lizard, snake, or crocodile skin, it’s very very hard to get. It’s very difficult to get a Birkin. You can be whoever, whatever but to get a Birkin is hard. I think I have about 16 Birkin in all shapes, sizes, colors, collected over the years; some passed down from family like heirlooms.”

Ameesha proudly displayed her collection of bags while revealing that there are a lot more of them than those in the video. Additionally, she mentioned that when she was 12–13 years old, she acquired her first high-end bag. The startling fact was that it was a school bag made by the Moschino-Louis Vuitton brand. Ameesha also shared that when she was 16 years old, she received her first Chanel purse as a birthday gift.
