Ananya Panday Opens Up On Relationship Habits: ‘I Don’t Like Giving People Space’
In a candid conversation on Neha Dhupia’s talk show, ‘No Filter Neha,’ Bollywood actress Ananya Panday delved into the complexities of relationships, shedding light on her own experiences and behaviours.
Among the revelations, Ananya confessed to a habit that might raise eyebrows for some: excessively calling her partner when they don’t pick up the phone. She mentioned saying “My partner didn’t pick up the phone. I do end up calling between 50 to 75 times.”, she acknowledged the underlying anxiety driving this behaviour.
Anxiety and the Need for Reassurance
The ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’ actress added, “I have a problem. Its desirable for me that a problem to be solved in that minute. I don’t like giving people space. It’s not a good habit,” Ananya Panday further says, “I get over things really fast. Like I am howling for two hours and then I’m like ‘Hey, I’m fine now. I just had to be dramatic but I’m fine now’.”
Ananya’s admission that she gets over things quickly after a dramatic outburst reflects the rollercoaster of emotions many experience. It’s a reminder that while intense emotions are valid, they can also be fleeting, requiring self-awareness and communication to navigate effectively.
Navigating Boundaries, Finding Balance
She suggests that calling someone repeatedly might lead them to turn off their phone. It highlights the importance of open communication and mutual respect in creating healthy relationship dynamics. “Don’t call someone 50 times because they will put their phone on airplane mode and it won’t be fun,” the actress added.
Ultimately, Ananya’s revelations serve as a reflection of the complexities inherent in romantic relationships. It’s a reminder that relationships require constant negotiation, empathy, and understanding to thrive. By acknowledging her flaws and sharing her insights, Panday offers a glimpse into the universal journey of love, growth, and self-discovery.
