Ananya Panday Prevents Deepika Padukone From Visiting Her Home Due To Chunky Panday- Why?

The Interview

In a recent interview with Cyrus Broacha’s YouTube channel, Deepika Padukone revealed something peculiar about Ananya Panday when she told how the latter refused to let her and the rest of the Gehraiyaan group visit her house.

When presenter Cyrus Broacha asked Ananya why? she openly stated that her father and fellow actor Chunky Panday, often strolled around the house with nothing but a towel. After which, she invited the others to come over if they genuinely wanted to see Chunky like that.

Gehraiyaan

The film is a satire on contemporary relationships and their complexities. The audience gave the film mixed reviews when it first came out.

While some viewers are blown away by the tale, music, and performance, others are frustrated by the film’s absence of bright moments that help to make the dark sections tolerable. On the other hand, Deepika’s acting was praised by almost everyone.

The stars had put in a lot of time and effort to promote the picture, and spectators eagerly anticipated its release. Shakun Batra had directed the movie and Karan Johar had produced it.

Giving movie’s review, Bollywood Life wrote, “Gehraiyaan is brilliantly shot by Kaushal Shah, extremely well acted, written with depth and conviction, and directed with confidence and insight by Shakun Batra”.

Talking about the cast, Bollywood Life wrote that Deepika Padukone delivers arguably the best performance of her career, Ananya Panday is good in a role that’s tailor-made for her and Siddhant Chaturvedi excels in what’s the most ambiguous character of the film. They’re well supported by Dhairya Karwa, Rajat Kapoor and Naseeruddin Shah.

Most importantly, Director Shakun Batra and his co-writers, Ayesha Devitre, Sumit Roy, Yash Sahai, handle a complex narrative with extreme maturity, never once letting the attention of viewers slip despite a runtime just a touch over 2 hours and 20 minutes. And, after eons, comes a Bollywood movies, where the entire soundtrack is memorable, but then again, is it surprising that a Karan Johar production boasts good music.
