Bollywood actress Ananya Panday, daughter of actors Chunky and Bhavana Pandey, has been in the spotlight for her successful career in the industry. Recently, she opened up about her journey, revealing how living on her own has positively impacted her emotional well-being.
In an honest conversation with her father, Chunky Panday, on the YouTube channel We Are Yuvaa, Ananya shared how moving out of her family home has helped her manage her emotions better. She admitted that during her time living with her parents, her sadness was often magnified, as their well-meaning concern seemed to unintentionally feed into her emotional turmoil. “When I used to stay with y’all, I feel like when I used to get sad, you used to feed into my sadness,” Ananya confessed.
The actress elaborated on how her mother’s inquiries about her well-being would often make things worse. She explained that when her mom would ask, “What happened? Are you fine?”, it would deepen her sadness instead of offering comfort. Reflecting on her emotional state at the time, Ananya even admitted that she would sometimes exaggerate her feelings, saying, “I was acting also a little bit while crying at home.”
Ananya shared that living alone has allowed her to gain better control over her emotions. She revealed that she no longer feels as deeply affected by things as she once did, and she’s learned to embrace spending time alone with her thoughts. She reflected on her past struggles with loneliness, admitting that she used to find it difficult to even sleep without company. Now, she is at peace with her own company, a shift that has brought her significant emotional growth.
On the work front, Ananya has been busy with a number of exciting projects. She was recently seen in CTRL and has an impressive lineup ahead. She is set to star in Chand Mera Dil, a film produced by Dharma Productions, alongside Lakshya. Additionally, Ananya has begun shooting for the second season of Call Me Bae and is also preparing for an untitled film from Dharma Productions, where she will share the screen with Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan.
Meanwhile, her father, Chunky Panday, is gearing up for his role in Housefull 5, further solidifying the Panday family’s strong presence in Bollywood.
