Veteran actors Anupam Kher and Neena Gupta shared the first look of their next film, Shiv Shastri Balboa. Directed by Ajayan Venugopalan, the story is about an Indian man’s survival in America.

Anupam Kher has confirmed his next film with Neena Gupta titled Shiv Shastri Balboa. The actor informed his fans that the Ajayan Venugopalan directorial venture will be his 519th film. The film will have elements of humour and drama while revolving around the premise of an Indian’s survival in America.

Shiv Shastri Balboa to star Anupam Kher and Neena Gupta. Neena Gupta, who is currently looking forward to the release of her and Manoj Bajpayee’s film, Dial 100 on August 6 on Zee5, has signed Shiv Shastri Balboa with Anupam Kher. It will follow the story of an Indian in a small town in America. The actor Anupam Kher posted the pictures from East Brunswick, New Jersey, USA. It seems the film’s shooting will take place there.

Actress Neena Gupta and Anupam Kher will be back on the screen after many years. In the first look, Anupam Kher is seen dressed in a white Ganji and blue jeans and some beaded necklaces whereas Neena Gupta is dressed in a maroon dress with pearl necklaces.

The actor Anupam Kher was last seen in 2019 in the film “The Accidental Prime Minister”.Neena Gupta’s last film was “Sardar ka Grandson”. Her upcoming films are “83”, “Dial 100”, “Gwalior”, and “Goodbye”.

Anupam Kher Career life:

Anupam Kher is an Indian actor and the former Chairman of the Film and Television Institute of India. He has appeared in over 500 films predominantly in the Hindi language, and many plays. He is a recipient of two National Film Awards and eight Filmfare Awards.

He received the Filmfare Award for Best Actor for his performance in Saaransh in 1984. He holds the record for winning the Filmfare Award for Best Comedian five times in total for Ram Lakhan in 1989, Lamhe in 1991, Khel in 1992, Darr in 1993, and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge in 1995.

He won the National Film Award for Special Mention twice for his performances in Daddy in 1989 and Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara in 2005.

For his achievement in the film, Vijay in 1988, won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor.
