AR Rahman Gave Savage Reply To Salman Khan After He Called Him ‘Average’, ‘You’ll Have To…’

Bollywood megastar Salman Khan is not only famous for his power-packed action films, but also for his outspoken nature. He often pokes fun at others on public platforms. However, it happened once that the actor ended up being the target himself when he called music composer AR Rahman an ‘average’ singer.

Salman mocks AR Rahman

Recently, an old video of Salman and Rahman from a 2014 event surfaced on discussion platform ‘Reddit’. In the clip, the superstar is seen having a funny banter with the maestro. He is heard calling AR an ‘average’ composer while quickly asking when will the singer work with him and trying to hold his hand.

Rahman leaves everyone in splits with his response after host prods him to reply to Salman’s question. Without being rude or mean, the composer quips that the actor will have to do the kind of films he likes, only then he’ll work with him.

As soon as the video was posted, netizens began pouring in their thoughts over it. One user wrote, “AR Rahman doesn’t like Salman Khan. Body language tells us all. Salman tried to shake hands with him after calling him average but ARR kept hands in his pocket so Salman forcibly took ARR hands out from his pocket.” Another said, “It was a terrible joke.”

Let us tell you that in the past, AR Rahman has talked about Bollywood ganging up against him. He revealed that he doesn’t receive any good offers for Hindi films as there is a whole gang working against him in the industry. They spread false rumours about him to sabotage his career.

For the unversed, AR Rahman is the first Indian to have won two Oscars in 2009 for ‘Slumdog millionaire’. He has given remarkable albums to Bollywood including those of ‘Rang De Basanti, ‘Guru’, ‘Swades’, ‘Delhi 6’, and many more. His last directed music was for ‘Heropanti 2’.
