Aryan Khan is having a stroke of tough luck currently. The star kid is probably facing the hardest times of his life. On October 20, his bail was rejected for the third time by the Mumbai court.
The 23-year-old is in the Arthur road jail. He was shifted from the quarantine cell to the normal barrack after testing negative for COVID-19. But due to security issues, he was moved to special barracks of the jail. A jail inmate of Aryan, Shravan Nadar spoke to a leading daily about Shah Rukh Khan’s son’s condition inside the prison.
Nadar has told a news portal that Aryan is not receiving any kind of special or VIP treatment in the jail. He also revealed that he has witnessed the star kid cry. Shravan claimed that the superstar’s son eats regular food and biscuits; however, he can also buy food from the canteen with the money he received from his parents, SRK and Gauri Khan.
On October 21, Shah Rukh Khan who was keeping himself away from the media glare was spotted outside the jail premises for the first time after Aryan’s arrest. The King Khan of Bollywood went on to meet his son. According to reports, the duo interacted for around 18 minutes and during their conversation, Aryan broke down into tears.
Later, the Raees actor also asked the Jail authority if they can provide him home-cooked food but they refused by saying the family needs to take special permission from the court.
A special NDPS court on Wednesday rejected Aryan Khan’s bail plea by citing reasons that say, ‘There is a possibility that he could “tamper with evidence” or “commit a similar offense while on bail”.’
The court order reads, “There is ample evidence in the form of WhatsApp chats of accused no. 1 (Aryan Khan) with foreign national and unknown persons dealing in drugs. There is a reference of hard drugs and bulk quantity in WhatsApp chats which cannot be meant for consumption, with unknown persons who are suspected to be part of international drug racket.”
The court also claimed that Aryan was also involved in unlawful drug activities in the past. After this order, Shah Rukh and Gauri moved to the High court and now, the Bombay High Court has set October 26 as the next date for the star kids bail hearing.
For the unversed, Aryan along with seven others was remanded by NCB after they raided them on a luxury cruise with alleged illegal substances on October 2. After investigation, NCB mentioned that they have seized 13gm of cocaine, 21gm of charas, 22 pills of MDMA, and 5gm of mephedrone, and more than Rs 1.3 lakh cash.
