TV actor Ashnoor Kaur is right now in a very happy state of mind. And the reason is her class 12 results. Also, she has bought a new house. She has said that she wanted to set an example with her boards’ results that actors are intelligent. She has scored 94 percent in the CBSE class 12 board examinations.
In an interview with News 18, Ashnoor Kaur while talking about her board results has said, “I wanted to set an example. Many people came to me and said that you have proved us wrong that actors can’t be intelligent. They are intelligent. It is about your passion, your talent, and your choices. It is not related to mental ability and intellect.”
Her 10th board results were also inspiring but this time, Ashnoor wanted to outshine herself. “I didn’t want to stress myself more, and said to myself, ‘I need to score more than my class 10 because then I managed to score 93 along with a daily soap. Now that I wasn’t doing one, iss baar thode zyaada aane chahiye, even if it’s one percent’,” she tells.
The actor also added that she was extremely excited to check her results with her family. She said, “I was expecting that my result will be good. I had worked very hard. I had given my hundred percent in all my vivas and practicals because I did not want to disappoint myself. I had set expectations. I wanted to make my parents proud. Before the results, I was nervous. I had not checked my class 11th grades and did not know how it would all be counted in the final result. My parents were there with me when I checked it online. We all screamed in excitement. It was a nice family moment. I have recently got a Shih Tzu pup and he also started licking me.”
Ashnoor shared this big news on her Instagram. While sharing the picture of herself posing for ‘peace-sign, the actor captioned the post as, “AND 94% IT IS PEOPLE #12thboards Feeling accomplished, as I didn’t disappoint myself and my near & dear ones… Hard work paid off!!! All I have to say is, where there’s a will, there’s always, ALWAYS a way!”
Earlier, Ashnoor also had talked about her future plans and revealed in an interview that she wants to continue her studies, alongside her acting career. She explained a leading daily, “I’m not going to give up my studies. I’ll do my graduation in Mumbai, mostly Bachelor of Mass Media (BMM). On the professional front, I’ll take a little break from daily soaps as of now. But you never know, if something with a good concept comes, I might take it up. I’m concentrating on grooming myself for bigger things, this is a transition phase I’m going through, from being a teenager to adulthood. I’ll take a break and prepare myself so when I come back, I don’t disappoint.”
Ashnoor does not want to rely completely on Showbiz. The 17-year-old actress has said, “This showbiz industry is not very stable, I’d want a backup option. Rather than starting from scratch in something totally new, I also have an interest in direction, so I might do my Masters in filmmaking.”
Ashnoor has made a special place for herself in the TV industry, is performing well in her academics, has purchased a house, and that too all at the age of 17. She has been a part of shows such as Patiala Babes and Jhansi Ki Rani.
