Athiya Shetty married cricketer KL Rahul at her father Suniel Shetty’s Khandala farmhouse. The special lehenga Took more than a year to Complete
For this special moment, Athiya wore a soft pink chikankari lehenga designed by Anamika Khanna, while KL Rahul wore an embroidered ivory sherwani by the designer. This delicate piece is hand woven in silk with zardosi and jaali work and is handmade. It also includes a silk organza veil and dupatta with intricate handiwork. Anamika Khanna, the designer, revealed in an interview with Vogue that the lehenga is a labour of love and took approximately 10,000 hours to make. It means it took approx 416 days to get ready.

Anamika also reveals that it was Athiya Shetty who inspired the wedding lehenga. “Atiya has a delicate, refined and refined taste. He wanted to create something special that would reflect him as a bride-to-be, but he was never a bride who put everything first. A very strong personality that I think he brought to life.” Anamika Khanna said, “He doesn’t make any noise, but she still screams.
