Ayan Reached Somnath To Thank Mahadev, Performed Shivabhishek With Ranbir Kapoor!!

Director Ayan Mukerji and Ranbir Kapoor reached Somnath from Mumbai on Thursday to thank Lord Shiva for the success of ‘Brahmastra’, which has earned Rs 164.20 crore in its first week at the domestic box office. Ayan started the promotions of the film by offering prayers at Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi after the shooting of the film and now after performing well in the first week of the film, he offers prayers at Somnath Temple. Sources reveal that with the completion of the second week of the film, Star Studios, the maker of the film ‘Brahmastra Part One Shiva’, can make an official announcement of the second part of the film ‘Brahmastra Part Two Deva’.

The film earned Rs 164.20 crores at the domestic box office till the sixth day of its release. The Hindi version earned the highest Rs 147.80 crore. The Telugu version of the film earned Rs 12.75 crore in the first six days, the Tamil version Rs 3.61 crore, the Kannada version Rs 3 lakh, and the Malayalam one got Rs 1 lakh in the same period. The advance bookings for the seventh day of the film were also above expectations.

Ayan Mukerji has already started talking about starting work on the next story of the film ‘Brahmastra Part One Shiva’. Star Studios has not officially announced the second part of the film, but the studio can announce it anytime in the second week of the film’s release. According to reports, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will be seen in lead roles in the film ‘Brahmastra Part Two Deva’.
