The drama queen of entertainment world, Rakhi Sawant is once again in headlines for her relationship with beau Adil Khan Durrani. This time, Sawant has stunned one and all by revealing that she and Durrani are married for last seven months.

In a startling disclosure, Rakhi confirmed that she and Adil apparently tied the knot on July 2, 2022. In a recent interview, she talked about why she hid her marriage from fans and media.

Rakhi said that she and Adil had a nikah ceremony and court marriage after three months of dating. But Adil stopped her from disclosing it because he felt it would get difficult to find a suitor for his sister if people got to know about their marriage. According to Adil, ‘tum Rakhi Sawant ke saath judoge toh tumne badnaami lee hai.’

The former Bigg Boss contestant also talked about her failed first marriage with Ritesh Singh. She shared that if she hadn’t participated in BB15, she wouldn’t have known his truth. Rakhi said she almost slipped into depression because of Ritesh’s betrayal. But then Adil came as a saviour. He proposed to her and they soon took the plunge. She quoted, “I didn’t want to wait, as I have a strong desire to become a mother. However, his family has still not accepted me.”

Rakhi also mentioned that she is breaking the news now because she wants to save her marriage. “Main bahut pareshan hoon isliye logon ke saamne meri shaadi aana zaroori hai,” asserted the actress.

For the unversed, Rakhi and Adil made their relationship public in May 2022. Their marriage speculations begun when a picture of Rakhi with Adil wearing garlands and holding a marriage certificate surfaced online.
