Actor Ashutosh Rana has shown different shades of his acting in Hindi cinema. His acting has been considered very good. Ashutosh Rana has played every character very well and has left an indelible mark on the big screen. From serious character to villain, he has done every character in a great way. Ashutosh Rana was born on 10 November 1967 in Gadarwara, Madhya Pradesh.
Ashutosh Rana has done more than one film in his career. He did his complete education from Madhya Pradesh. Very few fans of Ashutosh Rana would know that when he passed class 11th, the entire village was celebrated on a grand scale. This was told by Ashutosh Rana’s brother in a TV interview. He told that when Ashutosh Rana passed 11th, a picture of him and the result was brought decorated in a lorry. Ashutosh Rana’s friends also played drums with this lorry. From which it came to know that Ashutosh Rana has passed the 11th examination. Ashutosh Rana used to play in the streets of his village in his childhood and always used to play the role of Ravana in the upcoming Ramlila. Due to which he was interested in acting since childhood. After studying LLB, Ashutosh Rana wanted to make a career in advocacy, but one of his gurus was ordered that he should go to films and give advice.
After which Ashutosh Rana took NSD (National School of Drama) Edition. After completing his studies, he was offered a job in NSD itself and that too on a hefty salary, but he decided to go into the film world. Ashutosh Rana started his career as a TV artist. He first appeared in the serial Swabhimaan. After this Ashutosh Rana did TV shows like Farz, Conspiracy, Kabhi Kabhi and Waaris. Slowly Ashutosh Rana decided to turn to films. After which he appeared in films like Tamannaah, Krishna Arjun, Dushman and Ghulam, but Ashutosh Rana got his real identity in Hindi cinema from the film Sangharsh. This film came in 1999, in this film Akshay Kumar and Preity Zinta were in the lead roles along with Ashutosh Rana. After the film Sangharsh, Ashutosh Rana has acted in many great films like Badal, Raj, Anarth, Haasil, Kalyug, Zilla Ghaziabad, Shorgul, Sonchiraiya, War and Pagglait.
