BMC sanitizes Karan Johar’s house after Kareena Kapoor tested positive for Covid-19 at his dinner party.  Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor has tested positive for COVID-19. The actress confirmed the news on Monday as she shared an official statement on her social media platform. She expressed that she’s feeling okay and is currently under home quarantine.

Earlier today, the BMC had sanitized the sealed buildings of Kareena and Amrita, as per the safety precautions laid down by the state government of Maharashtra. They will also be conducting RT-PCR COVID-19 tests at the residences to ensure the COVID-19 guidelines.

Along with Kareena, her best friend Amrita Arora has also tested positive for COVID-19. On confirmation, she wrote, “I have tested positive for COVID. I am following all the medical guidelines and BMC rules. Anyone who has been in contact with me, please get tested. My family and staff are all fully vaccinated and have all tested negative. Stay safe, stay Responsible.”

Previously, BMC had claimed that Kareena and Amrita have been flouting COVID-19 norms and attending parties despite testing positive for the deadly virus. Soon after it was reported that Kareena had tested positive for COVID-19, the official spokesperson of the actress had given a clarification on Monday and revealed that she had contracted the virus at a private dinner recently.

Karan Johar’s next directorial venture is Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani in which Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt will be seen in the lead role. Karan and all the actresses who have already been tested positive for Covid-19 are taking all necessary precautions and following the protocols. Hope they get better very soon!
