TV actress Kavita Kaushik made a huge fan following with her portrayal of sub-inspector Chandramukhi Chautala in sitcom ‘FIR’. But her image got a little tarnished after she appeared in Bigg Boss 14. Post that, Kavita has been at the receiving end from audience.

In a recent interview, the actress revealed that she is not someone who focuses on publicists and image building. In fact, she never hired a PR person in her life. Kavita said that she prefers to concentrate on her work rather than gossip.

Kavita stated, “Like other celebrities, I don’t have the talent to do image-building. It’s just not me. You like me, great, if you don’t like me, I can’t change it. I cannot behave like actors who call the press to their home and then behave all awkward. I have never hired a PR person, except during Bigg Boss.”

Kavita asserted that she never cared if people thought I was brash. It is not her job to care about people and what they think of her. She shared that her prime focus has been work only. Kavita told that she keeps herself creatively busy and has no time for gossiping.

Kavita quoted, “I did ‘FIR’ for nine years and I was so engrossed in it that it kept me away from all the TV politics, who is getting what award or who is saying what.” The actress said that it makes her immensely happy to see the kind of love she gets for ‘FIR’ till today.
