Hrithik Roshan, who turns 48 today, shared the first glimpse of the much-discussed Hindi version of Vikram Vedha on social media. In the caption, he simply wrote “Vedha.” The movie, starring Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan, and Radhika Apte, has already finished two shooting schedules. Hrithik had a 12-day shoot in Lucknow in December 2021, whereas Saif had a 12-day shoot in Dubai. The makers of Vikram Vedha have shared Hrithik Roshan’s first look as Vedha on his birthday. The Bollywood version is the remake of a Tamil Superhit movie with the same title.

The actor is covered in blood and has a gruff yet intense appearance, complete with a big beard and moustache. With sunglasses on and his gaze fixed on the camera lens, the star completed his ensemble.

A cult classic on its own, Vikram Vedha is a neo-noir action crime thriller film. The film portrays the story of a fierce police officer who sets out to track down and kill an equally strong gangster, inspired by the Indian meta-folktale Vikram Aur Betaal. R. Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi were featured in the Tamil hit which was directed by Pushkar-Gayathri.

Gulshan Kumar, Reliance Entertainment and T-Series Films are producing Vikram Vedha, partnering with Friday Filmworks and YNOT Studios Production. This action-packed movie is expected to be released worldwide on September 30.

Before his birthday, Hrithik Roshan announced on Instagram that he had adopted a puppy. Fans and family have shown their support for the star. Meanwhile, fans have also expressed their gratitude to Hrithik Roshan on social media, thanking him for ‘inspiring’ them and for being one of Bollywood’s’most respectable’ performers, especially during difficult times.

Hrithik Roshan’s next film will be Fighter, in which he will star alongside Deepika Padukone. This film would be the first time the two will work together. It will be India’s first action franchise. On Hrithik’s 47th birthday last year, Siddharth Anand’s film War was announced.
