Season 2 of the Disney + Hotstar popular show The Night Manager is out for viewing today. It has a stellar star cast of Aditya Roy Kapur, Anil Kapoor, Sobhita Dhulipala, and Tillotama Shome among others.
The Press Conference
In the press conference held for the show, we see stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur dressed in their stylish best. Sobhita was seen donning an Ava ombre dress by Sruti Dalmia.
One particular moment that caught the netizens attention was when Anil Kapoor and Sobhita Dhulipala were posing for the camera. The paps were shouting ‘Nice Jodi’, ‘Jhakass Jodi’ to which the actors blushed. While Sobhita covered her mouth to stifle her laugh, Anil Kapoor made no such attempts. In fact, the senior actor stood awkwardly close to his co – star with his hand continuously wrapped tight around her waist.

As soon as the video started doing rounds on Reddit, netizens started trolling Anil Kapoor. “I am feeling so sick. Here he is doing it again, except even creepier” wrote one user. “She’s younger than even Sonam.. what nonsense” pointed out another netizen.
Even during the press conference, Anil Kapoor was seen playfully flirting with Sobhita when he pointed to her and asked if she wanted to work with him again. The duo play a couple in the show and the viewers enjoyed their chemistry. However, when the video surfaced online, users pointed out that Sobhita looked uncomfortable. The 66 year old actor has been making getting positive responses from fans and his younger co actors on his looks. He still manages to look fit and dapper in this age. In the previous season, Anil and Sobhita’s characters have some steamy scenes together. When asked how did he manage to pull off such scenes, Anil replied that it was difficult. Despite working so many years in this industry he had never done anything like that before. He also said that Sobhita was kind and beautiful and helped him.
