Rishi Kapoor passed away in April 2020 at the age of 67. Rishi Kapoor lost the battle of life after battling cancer for a long time. Since his death, his wife Neetu Kapoor is seen remembering him on many occasions and also reminisces many old moments on social media. Recently, on the sets of Dance Deewane Junior, Neetu Kapoor once again became very emotional remembering her husband Rishi Kapoor and her eyes became moist.

In the upcoming episode of Dance Deewane Junior, Neetu Kapoor along with the grandmother of a contestant reminisces her husband’s first meeting with Rishi Kapoor. She said, ‘My husband met Rishi Ji in 1974, he used to always talk about him. Rishi Ji has always supported my husband and today I want to sing a song for him. As the contestant’s grandmother sang the song Lambi Judai, Neetu Kapoor got emotional remembering Rishi Kapoor.

Neetu Kapoor, who got emotional, also came on stage and told her co-judges how people come to Rishi Kapoor reminiscing his old memories and he always feels that she is attached to him. Expressing her feelings, Neetu Kapoor said, “Rishi Ji is not here today, but every day I meet someone or the other who reminds me of him. Everyone has some of the other story related to him, he is always with me.”

Talking about Neetu Kapoor’s projects, the actress, who has proved her mettle on the big screen, has now entered the world of TV. She made her debut in the TV industry as a judge with Dance Deewane Junior. Neetu Kapoor is enjoying her TV journey a lot and she often shares fun-filled videos from the sets. Apart from Dance Deewane Junior, Neetu Kapoor will soon be seen in Karan Johar’s production film ‘Jug-Jug Jio’ which also stars Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor and Kiara Advani in the lead roles.
