Yuzvendra Chahal, an Indian cricketer, took to Instagram on Thursday to wish his wife Dhanashree Verma a happy Karwa Chauth. The two celebrated the festival virtually. That was an awesome thing to see.

Dhanashree posted a video of herself on Instagram looking at Yuzvendra’s face, then at the moon, before breaking her fast by drinking some water. Let us tell you, Yuzvendra and the rest of the Indian team are in Australia for the T20 World Cup. During Karwa Chauth, he was in Perth, while Dhanashree was in India.

Dhanashree, a choreographer and YouTuber, captioned the video of their virtual Karwa Chauth, “India-Australia wala Karwa Chauth.” She wore a red ethnic outfit and virtually performed her Karwa Chauth rituals with Yuzvendra. She was dressed comfortably. Yuzvendra had previously posted on Instagram to wish his wife a happy Krwa Chauth. “Happy Karva Chauth wifey, Love you,” he wrote in the caption.

In one of the photos in his Instagram post, Yuzvendra showed his wife’s mehendi, which was emblazoned with her husband’s name and the number ‘3,’ implying that this was their third Karwa Chauth together. They tied the knot on December 22, 2020. Yuzvendra also included an adorable throwback photo of himself with Dhanashree in his most recent post. In the comment section, celebrities and fans showered love on the couple. “Cuties!” wrote singer Neha Kakkar. “Love to both of you,” wrote actor Archana Puran Singh.

Their Karwa Chauth posts came just weeks after Dhanashree and Yuzvendra denied divorce rumours. Dhanashree recently removed Chahal from her profile name on Instagram, sparking speculation about their breakup. In their identical social media posts, the two denied the rumor.
