FIR Filed Against Organizer Of AP Dhillon Concert For Disobeying Covid-19 Norms- Deets Inside

The Vakola police on Sunday night registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the organizer of singer AP Dhillon’s concert at a hotel in Santacruz (East) for violating Covid-19 norms.

 

Mumbai Police registers FIR against organizers of AP Dhillon’s concert over violation of COVID-19 norms. Many celebrities like Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, and others had attended the concert. Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter Sara Tendulkar and actor Jaaved Jaaferi’s daughter Alaviaa Jaaferi were also spotted at the music show.

The FIR has been lodged against Siddhesh K who organized the event. “We have booked him under Section 188 and 269 of the Indian Penal Code, 51B of the Disaster Management Act, and other appropriate sections of the Epidemic Act. We have also sent a notice to him,” Sunayana Nate, senior inspector of Vakola police station, said.

Earlier, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, who were in Delhi to shoot for their upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, attended AP Dhillon’s concert in Gurugram. With a total of 17 Omicron cases in Maharashtra, the highest in any state in the country, Section 144 had been imposed in Mumbai over the weekend. To reduce the further spread, rallies, morchas, or processions of people or vehicles had been prohibited in Mumbai.

Due to the rise in Omicron cases, large gatherings are currently banned in the city. However, thousands were found partying without masks and following any social distancing at the Canadian singer AP Dhillon’s live concert. Nothing further is known about the police case, till now.
