The Big Boss OTT 2 is going to start from June 17. It will premiere at 9 pm on Jio Cinema. Superstar Salman Khan will be hosting the show this time. In an interview, Salman Khan confirmed the same and said that he hoped that the Big Boss OTT was ‘not too uncensored or unfiltered’.
Aaliya Siddiqui
Like every year, this year too, the Big Boss house has its share of controversial contestants. One such contestant is Aaliya Siddiqui, the estranged wife of actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Aaliya and Nawazuddin were married for 19 years and have 2 kids and currently undergoing divorce proceedings. They had an ugly dispute last year when Aaliya accused Nawazuddin of abandoning his kids while he filed a defamation case against her. Aaliya also accused Nawaz’s mother Mehrunissa of shutting her out from her Mumbai home. But earlier this month, she shared a photo of her Italian boyfriend and asked her fans, ‘Don’t I have the right to be happy?’
Avinash Sachdev
Another contestant is Avinash Sachdev who is known for his roles in popular television serials like Choti Bahu, Iss Pyaar ko Kya Naam Doon and Main bhi Ardhangini. Avinash and Rubina were in a relationship till they parted in 2012. Later Avinash married his co-star Shalmalee from Iss Pyaar ko Kya Naam Doon in June 2015. But within 2 years, this marriage ended. Later Avinash started dating model, actor Palak Purswani. They also had a roka in January 2021 much to their fans delight. But unfortunately in Jan 2022, they announced their break up. It would be interesting to have Avinash as his now ex-Palak is also confirmed to be another contestant.
Other contestants
Apart from these, we also have MTV fame Cyrus Broacha, Mika di Vohti fame Akanksha Puri. Sheezan Khan’s sister Falak Naaz, Bhagyalakshmi fame Bebika will also be a part of Big Boss OTT2. The fans will also be in for some surprises as there are talks of a famous YouTuber, RJ, a Dubai-based model, and a viral sensation too as contestants. The names of which will be revealed during the grand premiere on June 17.
