Actress Gauahar Khan gained fame after her stint on reality show ‘Bigg Boss 7’. Since then, there is no looking back for the her. The star went on to feature in films and web series which further added to her glorious career. Gauahar recently embraced motherhood and is enjoying the best phase of her life with her little bundle of joy, Zehaan. In a latest interview with Hauterrfly, the actress opened up about the time of her delivery and revealed a hilarious incident of driving herself to the hospital while in labor pain.

Gauahar shares a funny incident

Talking about the interesting day of her son’s birth, Gauahar said that she had an appointment with her doctor. They were heading there when suddenly her contractions began while she was driving. The ‘Ishaqzaade’ actress called her husband Zaid Darbar ‘amazing’ and mentioned that he was sitting next to her and he let her take the command of car because he knows her love for driving. So, she continued driving throughout her pregnancy and on the day of her delivery too. Gauahar added that she had reached the hospital at 4:30 and her baby boy opened his eyes at 9:30.

Gauahar’s weight loss journey post delivery

The 40-year old actress has stunned with her unbelievable postpartum weight loss journey. In her first-ever picture post delivery, she revealed losing 10 kgs within ten days of bringing her first child in this world. Gauahar was wearing a cream-coloured night suit while flaunting her wet hair look. Alongside the picture, she had written, “Lost 10 kgs in 10 days postpartum! Alhamdulillah 6 more to go! #newmomlife.” After 18 days of delivery, the new mommy took to her Instagram handle to share a mirror video in which she showed off her almost flat tummy. In the clip, she was decked-up in a white-hued round-neck t-shirt and black fitted pants.
