Bollywood couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh make for one of the most adorable duos of the film industry. Before tying the knot in 2018, the pair dated for nearly six years. However, they kept their relationship secret and stayed away from the spotlight. Many claimed that DeepVeer’s love story began on the sets of their first film ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’ and now their co-star from the same film, Gulshan Devaiah has confirmed it.

In a recent interview, Gulshan, who portrayed the role of Bhavani Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film recalled the exact time when Deepika and Ranveer started growing closer to each other. He said that he did not notice anything between the star couple during the first schedule of the film but when they shot in Udaipur for the second schedule, he saw something brewing between Deepika and Ranveer.

Gulshan went on to reveal that he was surprised when he saw Deepika sitting on Ranveer’s lap. He quoted, “Wahan pe notice kiya, arey godi mein baithi hai yeh, kya ho gaya yeh. Yeh kab ho gaya. Song sequence do-teen karwaye the, tab toh kuch nahin dikha humein, aake apna kaam karke chali jaati thi.”

‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela- Ram Leela’ gave Bollywood the hit couple of Deepika and Ranveer. The chemistry between them was so mesmerising that the actors went on to star in two of Bhansali’s magnum opus films ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and ‘Padmaavat’.

Meanwhile, Gulshan Devaiah appeared last in web show ‘Dahaad’ alongside Sonakshi Sinha and Vijay Varma. He has signed Sudhanshu Saria’s directorial ‘Ulajh’ with Janhvi Kapoor and Roshan Mathew and is currently in London shooting for it. Besides this, Gulshan has crime thriller ‘Guns & Gulaab’ with Dulquer Salmaan in the pipeline.
