Jackie Shroff was born on 1 February 1957 in Teen Batti area of Walkeshwar, Mumbai. His real name is Jaikishan Kakubhai Shroff. Jackie has worked in about 250 films in his career. Jackie Shroff’s story is no less than a film script. He was born in a poor family residing in chawl. It is said that Jackie always used to help the people of his chawl and that is why he was named ‘Jaggu Dada’. Everyone in the chawl used to call him by this name. Due to poverty, he left studies after 11th and started looking for a job. He was very fond of cooking, so he went to Taj Hotel for a job, but he did not get a job there.
