“Sitting at the Lucknow airport Starbucks and CRYING my eyes out

watching #12thFail. What an incredible film! I swear, if I had seen this 15 – 20 years ago, I might have aspired to become an IAS/IPS officer! Congratulations to VVC Sir & the entire team, and salute to the real & reel Manoj & Shraddha,” Monga wrote.

Despite missing the chance to see the film in theaters, Monga expressed gratitude for experiencing its magic on the streaming platform.

’12th Fail,’ directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, offers a poignant glimpse into the struggles of UPSC aspirants, drawing inspiration from the remarkable journey of Manoj Kumar Sharma, who overcame numerous challenges to achieve the rank of an IPS officer. Massey brilliantly portrays Sharma’s character, with Medha Shankr depicting his on-screen wife, Shraddha Joshi.
