‘Had Very Small Role In Om Shanti Om’: Vidya Balan Expresses Desire For Romantic Film With Shah Rukh Khan

A cameo by Shah Rukh Khan was in the comedy Heyy Babyy, which came out in 2007. The movie also stars Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Riteish Deshmukh, and Fardeen Khan. Fans will always remember how amazing it was when he sang in the Mast Kalandar song from Heyy Babyy.

Vidya also had a small role in Shah Rukh Khan’s Om Shanti Om, which came out the same year. A lot of people have been waiting for a movie with them in it since then. She also said that she wants to work with SRK on a love movie.

While promoting her upcoming romantic comedy Do Aur Do Pyaar, Vidya Balan has said that she would love to work with Shah Rukh Khan in a romance movie. The actor told India Today that she would like to work with King Khan as her first leading man. “It was a small part in Om Shanti Om as I recall. But I’d like to write a nice love story with him,” she said.

Talking about her wish to make a comedy, Vidya Balan

In a recent chat with Pinkvilla, Vidya said that she wants to make a comedy movie. She talked about how much she loves comedies and said, “As an actor, I think I haven’t had the chance to do a comedy, and I am yearning to do a comedy.” Also, she said that she likes the genre as an audience member and that it’s her best genre.

“I think deeper than ever. Although she had loved all the movies she had worked on, she now felt that she wanted to “make people laugh and smile for the next few years.”

Concerning Do Aur Do Pyaar

Shirsha Guha Thakurta directed the love comedy Do Aur Do Pyaar, which is about married people. The movie also has Pratik Gandhi, Ileana D’Cruz, and Sendhil Ramamurthy in it besides Vidya Balan. The movie will be in theaters on April 19, 2024. It was produced by Sameer Nair, Deepak Segal, Tanuj Garg, Atul Kasbekar, and Swati Iyer Chawla.
