The iconic actor of the Bollywood industry, Amitabh Bachchan once divulged an account from his film ‘Anand’. The director of the film scolded the star for wearing lipstick on the sets of the movie. Amitabh’s Revelation For His Red Lips

The Director Screamed At Him

The recalled that Anand movie’s director got furious after he saw his red lips. The director and his assistant began shouting at him for making his lips look red. Big B mentioned that it is not any lipstick but his lips are naturally of this color.

Amitabh Bachchan’s Befitting Response

He stated, “Its a picture from Anand and I retorted to say that his lips had a story. My lips were unusually red. Often when I went towards the camera, The director would scream at me : “Why have you put lipstick on your lips; who do you think you are, wipe it off!” followed by abusing remarks”.

The assistant tried to get the lipstick marks on a tissue paper. However as stated before, Amitabh’s lips were naturally red and to everyone’s surprise there came no marks. The assistant told the film director that Amitabh was telling the truth and he had no lipstick on his lips, which amazed the director. Defeated director asked him to apply some base makeup to conceal the brightness of his lips.
