Bella Hadid, the supermodel, has never shied away from admitting and revealing even the most painful and sensitive aspects of her life. Similarly, the 26-year-old recently shared her “morning anxiety” on TikTok in a video in which she can be seen laying in bed after waking up. She began by saying, “I have the worst morning anxiety.”
She admitted that she has become more open about it because she wants to hold herself accountable for her morning ritual. Also, I wanted to show you how fuking stupid I look sometimes when I try to get my morning routine done, Hadid says.
Hadid explained that her nervousness makes it difficult for her to do that.
She also stated that when her nervous thoughts take over, she does not believe in the affirmations she recites to help her control her anxiety. “I was really just letting you know sometimes that I feel stupid lying here if I don’t thinks what I’m saying ‘You’re going to have a fantastic day today, Bella,’ I’ll say. You’re not going to let your nervousness get the best of you. You are cherished. You are cherished. Bella, you are adored. ‘Not everyone despises you.'”
While she struggles with being a human 99 percent of the time, “there’s like that one percent that, sometimes, is just worth it and I ride on that one percent,” Hadid remarked.
“Normally, when I’m working so hard, my successes make me feel better, which is very harmful,” the model said of her tendency of counting on her job success to calm her anxieties. So I’m just attempting to make myself feel better naturally.”
In a January 2022 interview with WSJ Magazine, Hadid spoke up about her struggles with anxiety, despair, and Lyme illness. While her mental health troubles were at their worst, the Kin Euphorics creator revealed that she would occasionally email a photo of herself in an emotional condition to her mother, Yolanda Hadid, and physicians.
In November 2021, she reminded her Instagram followers that the glitzy images we see on social media do not necessarily reflect reality. “Social media is not real,” she captioned a sequence of photographs that included shots of her weeping.
Please remember this when you’re experiencing pain. It may not always be necessary to hear that you’re not alone. Therefore, from me to you, know that you are not alone. I see, I listen, and I adore you.”
