Sushant Singh Rajput was discovered hanging in his Bandra flat on June 14, 2020. The case was probed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), beginning with the Mumbai Police. There were several reactions to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Simultaneously, Rhea was arrested by the NCB in September 2020 in connection with the drug case surrounding the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. After spending a month at Mumbai’s Byculla Jail, she was granted bail in October 2020.
