Bollywood actress Zareen Khan had a short career in the industry. She survived for a few films only post which, the actress hardly appeared on screen. Recently, she was lauded for her brutally honest answers during a Q&A session on Reddit. She took up fan questions on her film career.

A user asked Zareen ‘how tough is it for outsiders to make it in the industry’. To this, she gave a filter free answer and said, “Right now…. Quite hard esp. if you aren’t an A** licker !” In another unabashed reply to what she dislikes the most about Bollywood, the actress said she isn’t impressed with how people are getting work on the basis of friendship rather than talent.

When a netizen asked about her stark resemblance with Katrina Kaif, Zareen shared that when she entered this industry, she was literally like a lost child since she doesn’t come from a filmy background. So, comparisons with Katrina Kaif made her feel really happy as she was her fan too and found her really pretty. But later, the actress realised that it actually backfired on her career as people din’t give her a chance to prove her individuality.

Zareen also revealed that doing intimate scenes in ‘Hate Story 3’ because was really difficult for her because she never thought of doing such a film in her life. She told that she did this film because there she was out of work and had to take care of her family. “I have no regrets now because when I see what’s happening in films and OTT now, it is much more,” added the actress.

For the unversed, Zareen Khan debuted in Bollywood with ‘Veer’ opposite Salman Khan. The film flopped at the box office. After this, she starred in films like ‘Housefull 2’ and ‘Aksar 2’. Zareen has most recently appeared in music video ‘Eid Ho Jayegi’ alongside ‘Bigg Boss 15’ fame Umar Riaz.
