TV actors Ankit Gupta and Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary, who starred together in Colors TV’s popular daily Udaariyan, have been speculated for their alleged link-up for a very long time. Now, that the two are together inside the controversial house of Bigg Boss, the rumours have gone even more strong. The duo are having a fair share of love-filled moments and fights in the house. While they have maintained that they are just friends, their ardent fans are pretty sure of their secret romance. They are even asking the duo to confess their feelings to each other.

Now, putting all the speculations to rest, Ankit and Priyanka’s co-star from their show, Isha Malviya has revealed that the rumoured lovebirds are true ‘just friends’. 

On being asked if Ankit-Priyanka are romantically involved, Isha said, ”Yes, they are really good friends in real life. Everybody on the sets of Udaariyan is aware of this too. A lot of people were confused about their relationship status and thought they were dating. This is because of the care they showed for each other and because of Priyanka’s behaviour. She has always put ahead her 100 per cent towards him and towards their friendship.”

“Like she has said in Bigg Boss too that it has always been more from her side. So that’s quite true, I think. But yeah, they have always been friends only. It’s because of their chemistry and the way they gel up with each other that people think they are dating, but well, they are not,” she added.

Furthermore, Malviya also spoke about how she is proud of her former co-actors for playing the game of Bigg Boss with honesty and faking for cameras. She said that Ankit and Priyanka’s nature is the same as that is seen in the glass-walled house. The actress shared, ” Ankit is very reserved and he is a very calm person who is extremely decent and soft-spoken. Priyanka too is being her true self.”
