JK Rowling Targets Daniel Radcliffe-Emma Watson For Supporting Transgender People: ‘I’m Afraid…’

There’s trouble brewing in the magic world. J.K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter series, and actors Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson have not been on good terms. For the past few years, the author has faced harsh criticism due to her problematic views on transgender rights.

Emma and Daniel have both openly criticized her, and Rowling appears capable of harbouring resentment. Rowling has now rekindled her rivalry with the two celebrities, claiming they should “save their apologies.”

Rowling: ‘Save Their Apologies’

Rowling, a self-described trans-exclusionary radical feminist, responded to a social media user who said, “Just waiting for Dan and Emma to give you a very public apology… safe in the knowledge that you will forgive them” for their earlier support for trans rights.

Rowling’s response triggered another wave of backlash; she said: “Not safe, I’m afraid. Celebs who cosied up to a movement intent on eroding women’s hard-won rights and who used their platforms to cheer on the transitioning of minors can save their apologies for traumatised de-transitioners and vulnerable women reliant on single-sex spaces.”

Using her position, Rowling has frequently attacked transgender activists and asserted that trans women are a threat to the feminist cause. Because of her convictions on the subject, she declared that she would “happily” serve time in prison.

Despite expressing their general support for the trans community, Radcliffe and Watson have refrained from publicly commenting on the transitions of minors.

This recall has led many fans to reiterate their disappointment in JK Rowling, with many saying that they can never look at the Harry Potter series the same way because of Rowling’s conduct.
