The film ‘Rocky and Rani’s Love Story,’ starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, has piqued the interest of the people. After many years, Karan Johar makes his directorial debut with this film. When the teaser for this film was released a few days ago, it brought back memories of the 1990s. The first song ‘Tum Kya Mile’ from ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ will be released soon. But before that, Karan Johar revealed that following Raha’s birth, he made Alia do something he afterwards regretted.

Karan Johar Apologize to Alia For making her do this after Raha’s birth

Karan Johar recently posted an Instagram snapshot of Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh from the song ‘Tum Kya Mile’. Alia-Ranveer are seen romancing in the mountains covered with snow in this shot. Karan Johar captioned this photo, explaining how Alia Bhatt shot this song following the birth of her daughter.

Karan stated in his Instagram caption, “She (Alia Bhatt) gave her life for this song. It was Alia’s first song after Raha’s birth, and I apologise for photographing her in Manish Malhotra’s chiffon saree. I became very ill as a result of this shoot (possibly karmic punishment). Ranveer Singh was similarly worried before lip-syncing his love ballad, but he is very great.”

The song is tribute to his mentor

He continues writing, “I wished to make a love song as a tribute to my mentor Yash Chopra. My mind kept telling me that you can’t match them and that you shouldn’t even try.But a fan guy, a lover of snow, chiffon sarees, and all things romantic in Kashmir’s valleys, fascinated me more.So the song was choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant, who has worked with Yash Chopra for many years.”

Rocky and Rani ki prem kahani release date

‘Rocky and Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ will be released in theatres on July 28, 2023. Apart from Alia-Ranveer, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan will play lead parts in this film.
