After hitting headlines on multiple occasions in the last few months, now Karan Johar has put a full stop on all rumors regarding Deverakonda’s relationship status.

Recently, a special episode of Koffee With Karan which saw social media stars Tanmay Bhat, Kusha Kapila, Danish Sait and Niharika NM. The four discussed various moments of the show with the host and gave awards to various participants on it. During the conversation, the filmmaker revealed that Vijay Deverakonda is single.

While talking about Karan not getting an invite from VicKat for their wedding, Niharika NM said, ‘You are invited to my wedding and you are gonna set me up.’ Karan then stated that Prabhas is single to which NM replied, ‘I’m 25, and my mother will have a problem.’ He then disclosed that Vijay Deverakonda is single while calling him ‘the biggest cheese platter available in the universe’. For the unknown, Vijay was referred to as ‘cheese’ by Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan during their appearance on Koffee With Karan 7.

On Karan’s revelation, Kusha Kapila mentioned how various celebs on the show gave hints of Vijay dating his Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade co-actor Rashmika Mandanna. To this, the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil director clarified, “He is single from what I know, he is single, officially single.”

Well, this might upset Vijay and Rashmika’s fans because they were shipping the duo for quite some time now. On the work front, Vijay has Kushi and Jana Gana Mana in the pipeline while Rashmika is gearing up for her Bollywood debut with Amitabh Bachchan starrer Goodbye.
