Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is all set to step into the digital space with her upcoming Netflix’s original ‘Jaane Jaan’. The actress is right now on a promotional spree for her film. She is attending events as well as interviews to do the same. Recently, Kareena made a stylish entry at an event to spread a word for her forthcoming film. She sang the National Anthem at the event in a closed hands posture. This left netizens unimpressed and soon after, the actress became a subject to massive trolling.

Kareena bashed for singing ‘Jana Gana Mana’ in wrong position

A video of Kareena humming the National Anthem began circulating on social media. In the clip,  the actress looked gorgeous in a red-hued ensemble consisting of short kurti with a dhoti skirt. Further in the video, she was seen singing ‘Jana Gana Mana’ by closing her hands. Netizens instantly noticed Kareena’s wrong position and reminded her that National Anthem is always sung in a standing position

Schooling the actress, one user wrote, “Ise koi btao ki national anthem m savdhaan khde hote h hath pkd ke nhi.” Another stated, “National anthem is sung in attention position… This is so pathetic such so-called ‘stars’ don’t know this.” A third one penned, “National anthem mei Attention mode mei khde hote h.”

Vijay roasted Kareena at the trailer launch of ‘Jaane Jaan’

Kareena appeared with her co-stars Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat at the trailer launch event of her upcoming mystery thriller film ‘Jaane Jaan’. During the same, Kareena shared an interesting anecdote about husband Saif Ali khan warning her before beginning to work with ace actors Vijay and Jaideep.

The actress said that Saif clearly told her to change her attitude while working with Vijay and Jaideep as they would be improvising. Kareena stated:

“Saif had already told me that this not like ‘I will go the set with my makeup on and will deliver my dialogue’. He was like ‘Please stop this attitude because you are working with Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma. Brace yourself, they are going to improvise.’”

Soon after Kareena’s disclosure, Vijay took over to roast the actress in a lighthearted way. He thanked Saif Ali Khan to introducing him and Jaideep to Kareena who otherwise wouldn’t have known who they are. He quoted:

“I want to thank Saif Ali Khan, because agar vo nahi hote toh inko pata bhi nahi hota ki kon hai yeh ladke.”

For the unversed, Kareena Kapoor Khan is making her OTT debut with ‘Jaane Jaan’. The film is the adaptation of book named ‘The Devotion Of Suspect X’. It is written and directed by Sujoy Ghosh. Besides this, the actress has Hansal Mehta’s ‘The Buckingham Murders’ and Rajesh Krishnan’s ‘The Crew’ in her kitty.
