The Bollywood actor took to his official Instagram handle to share glimpses of the event, where Kartik and his mother were seen dancing with a group of cancer survivors. Describing his mother’s battle with cancer, Kartik wrote, “From going for chemotherapy while shooting for these songs to grooving to these songs, the journey has been very tough. But fight this battle with positivity, perseverance, and fearlessness. For this, I am proud of my mother. My mother fought and won a terrible disease like cancer. Along with this, I also have a lot of respect for those people who could not win this battle but fought with it.”

On the work front, Kartik was last seen in the film ‘Dhamaka’. He has many projects ahead. He is currently working in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, ‘Shehzada’, ‘Captain India’, ‘Freddie’. There is also news that he will also be seen in a film by Sajid Nadiadwala, whose name has not been disclosed yet.
