Not a Fan of Weight Loss Drugs
Winslet, 48, admits she heard that people use some drugs to help shed weight, but nothing more than that. “I don’t know what Ozempic is,” Kate continued, “All I know is that it’s some pill that people are taking or something like that.” In recent times, the sale of Ozempic has skyrocketed in the US, especially in celeb circles. Actors like Mindy Kaling have openly admitted to taking it.
But in the UK and the rest of the world, Ozempic didn’t take off as much. That might be the reason why the English actress expressed such dismay over the topic. That too, the interviewer asked her about Ozempic while she was snacking on a delicious pastry. “The Holiday” star inquired about the medicine and why it was so popular.
