In Indian fashion, the black sari has become the classic version of the Little Black Dress (LBD). Katrina Kaif recently wore a sheer chiffon black sari with a tweed sequined blouse from Sabyasachi’s Autumn/Winter 2023 line that showed this appeal. Even though it’s only been worn once on the red carpet, the black sari has been a style icon for many famous people. People were mesmerised by Katrina Kaif in her music film for “Teri Ore,” in which she donned a thin black sari with a bright pink border.

Kaif decided “less is more” with her accessories, opting for dangling pearl earrings. She looked polished on the red carpet with little makeup. Recent occurrences have made wearing fewer or no accessories more visible. With diamond bracelets and earrings, she kept her accessories modest. 

Kaif has modelled various saris by Manish Malhotra, Tarun Tahiliani, and others. Her fashion choices included Tarun Tahiliani’s red season designs. It was refreshing to see her in a bright yellow sari instead of burgundy. She loves sheer saris like the one she wore from Sabyasachi and Rahul Mishra with embroidery. She showed her versatility by wearing blush pink and sky blue Manish Malhotra and Anita Dongre saris as she transitioned to a lighter colour scheme.
