On Monday, Kunal Kapoor and Naina Bachchan welcomed their first child, a boy. The actor announced the news on Instagram. “To all our well-wishers, Naina and I are overjoyed to share that we have become proud parents to a beautiful baby boy. We thank God for our abundant blessings,” Kunal shared.

Kunal and his wife decided to keep their pregnancy under the wraps. They didn’t post any photos or videos on their social media accounts. His friends and followers showered the pair with affection shortly after he broke the happy news.

Kunal’s followers and friends showered him with affection as soon as he announced the news. “Blessings in abundance,” one remark read, as congratulations words flooded in from numerous followers.

After learning the news, Hrithik Roshan was seemed overjoyed. He expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family and made a remark referring to himself as “Machu.” Sussanne Khan, Kunal’s ex-wife, praised him and Naina, saying the two would make “incredible parents.”

Kunal, who most recently appeared in The Empire and Ankahi Kahaniya, is most known for his role in Rang De Basanti. He plays Aslam in the film. Kunal believes that the basic themes of Rang De Basanti are still relevant today.

Ankahi Kahaniya, which was released in September of last year. He also played the Mughal ruler Babur in the Disney+ Hotstar series The Empire. Kunal is looking ahead to make his directing debut with a short film soon. He’s also working on a biography of Shiva Keshavan, an Indian winter Olympian.
