Priyanka Chopra got married to Nick Jonas in 2018. Since then, the couple has been making headlines all over the world. They took the media by storm when they welcomed their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas via surrogacy in January 2022.
In a recent interview with India Today, Madhu Chopra, the doting mom of Priyanka Chopra, unearthed a few details of the Sky is Pink actor’s parenting routine.
“She is fearless and isn’t scared of anything,” said the proud grandmother Madhu Chopra. “She (Priyanka) is giving her baby a lot of freedom to be her own person.”
When asked how she would describe her daughter in 3 adjectives, Madhu Chopra said, “She is just an absolute superwoman.”
Madhu Chopra’s solid parenting advice to Priyanka Chopra Jonas
Time and again Madhu Chopra makes sure to unthread a few pearls of wisdom and drops them in her global star cum daughter’s parenting handbook. In the interview, she also mentioned the importance of saying yes to Malti Marie more often.
“…once told her not to ever skew the word no. Explain to her, she will understand. Don’t just say no. That’s the one advice I shared with her.”
Madhu Chopra is dipping lavishly in her role as a grandmother. She even added how holding Malti Marie prompted her to forget about her own children.
“I just enjoy the baby in my arms. I have actually forgotten that I have kids of my own.”
She was also questioned about having any regrets while raising Priyanka. Madhu Chopra confessed her guilt of sending Priyanka to a boarding school.
“I wouldn’t have sent her to the boarding school. I still cry when I think about it and I still feel guilty. My fault was that I sent her to a boarding school. Not the best decision of my life.”
Priyanka took to Instagram Stories recently and shared a few glimpses of their Christmas prep. She wrote ‘Grateful’ on the picture consisting of a fireplace, red stockings pinned above, and other Christmas decorations.
