Mahabharat’ Actor Rohit Bhardwaj Announces Separation From His Wife After 16 Years Of Marriage

Rohit Bhardwaj, who is well known for his portrayal of Yudhishthira in Mahabharat, has been away from television for the past several years. In February 2021, he lost his mother, and he was also coping with issues in his 16-year marriage. While grieving the untimely death of his mother, he is battling divorce proceedings with his wife Poonam Bhardwaj.

In an interview with TOI, he stated that he had been living alone for the past four or five years. Differences existed from the beginning, and they only grew once he returned from Indonesia. He tried to make amends with his wife, but the relationship was doomed. The marriage was wrecked by differences of opinion and compatibility issues. The divorce is currently being finalised and should be finalised within the next two months.

When asked how his mother died, he said she died of cardiac arrest and that he was still suffering. He’s been travelling between Mumbai and Delhi to see his father, who is now living alone.

The couple has a 10-year-old daughter, whom Rohit has not seen since their split. Poonam and their daughter, who is not in the entertainment world, live in Delhi.

His work was hampered by personal issues, which were aggravated by the pandemic. He said that he returned from Indonesia and produced a flop of a web series. To widen his horizons, he also experimented with movies and online shows. In the process, he turned down a couple of TV shows. The epidemic, on the other hand, put everything on hold. He is optimistic that everything will come together fast. All of this caused him to avoid the spotlight. He now believes that he can make a strong comeback. He only wants his parents and daughter to be proud of him.

Rohit has appeared in shows such as ‘Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha,’ ‘Laal Ishq,’ and ‘Baat Hamari Pakki Hai’.
