The makers clarified in their statement how much truth is there in the news of increase in budget due to the demand of Hrithik Roshan. We want to tell you clearly that ‘Vikram Vedha’ has been shot at various locations in India which includes Lucknow. In October and November in 2021, we have shot a part of the film in UAE, because at that time we got the same location where infrastructure was available for bio-bubble. We took this decision keeping in mind the protocol and health.

The makers further said in their statement, ‘the manner in which the facts have been distorted, it is definitely a lie and wickedness. We would also like to make it clear to you that when we welcome the suggestion of any creative talent, we keep the production and budget in mind. Actually, in many reports, it was said that Pushkar and Gayatri wanted to make Vikram Vedha on a limited budget, but Hrithik Roshan reportedly refused to shoot in Uttar Pradesh and suggested to the makers that in Dubai it should be like UP.
