The 30-year-old Malibu singer announced the news on her Instagram page, revealing that her next single, Flowers, will be released on January 13. Fans were quick to notice a connection between Cyrus’ release date and her ex Liam Hemsworth’s birthday.

Miley even performed a small portion of the song, “Flowers,” in which she sang the lyrics: “I can love myself better than you can.”
The 30-year-old also revealed that her song will be released on January 13, which is also the birthday of her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth. While Miley has yet to comment on whether her new music was intended to coincide with her ex’s birthday, it’s clear from the lyrics she teased that the song is rich in meaning.
