The actress ruled the roost as the lead character of the show ‘Akshara.’ She left the show after a leap and post her exit, the show shifted its focus on the story of Akshara’s daughter, Naira played by Shivangi Joshi. Actor Moshin Khan also made an entry into the show. For a long time, Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan are weaving their magic on screen. They have likable chemistry on-screen and their fans lovingly call them ‘Kaira.’

But now, we have got a piece of sad news for all Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fans. As per the reports, actor Mohsin Khan who plays the role of Kartik Goenka in the show is planning to quit the show soon. The actor has been playing the role of Kartik Goenka for five-and-a-half years now. A source stated by Times Of India mentioned, “Yes Mohsin is planning to move on. Since the show is going in for a generation leap, he wouldn’t want to play an older character. So he decided to take a short break. Along with television, he would now want to try out different mediums like OTT and movies.”

The source also added, “It’s all amicable between him and the production house. Mohsin has always considered producer Rajan Shahi his mentor and guide and he too has spoken highly about Mohsin in his interviews.”

In the upcoming episodes of Yeh Rishta  Kya Kehlata hai we’ll witness some huge twists and turns the source also mentioned that Moshin will likely be part of the show for some time more and his exit will then be planned by the makers of the show.
