The dream girl of Hindi cinema, Hema Malini is now more active in politics than films. Despite that, she always find a reason to grab eyeballs. Currently, the actress is in discussion for her latest interview in which she has exposed the dark truth of a filmmaker. She has told in her exclusive interview with Lehren that once a director asked her to remove her saree pin and slide down her saree a bit.

Hema recalled an indecent incident from her shooting days. Without naming the filmmaker, she said that she was filming once when the director wanted to remove pin of the pallu of her saree. The actress then told him that removing the pin would make the pallu fall down. To this, the filmmaker said that this is what he wants.

Hema was offered ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’

In the same chat, Hema made a surprising disclosure about the blockbuster film ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’. She revealed that the film came her way before Zeenat Aman. For this, Raj Kapoor came to the actress and said that he knows she won’t do this film, but he still wants her to consider doing it. But then Hema’s mother was also with her and after knowing the story of the film, she refused it.

For the unversed, Hema Malini began her acting journey in the year 1960. In a career of nearly five decades, the actress has starred in more than 100 films. After attaining success on the big screen, Hema stepped into politics. She joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in the year 2004. Now, she is serving as a member of the Lok Sabha from Mathura.
