The union of Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra with Aam Aadmi Party MP Raghav Chadha has caused quite a stir on the internet. Social media is abuzz with the photos and videos of the couple’s private yet lavish white-themed wedding held right in the middle of Lake Pichola in Udaipur.
Raghav Chadha’s latest pic sparks a debate
Recently, a picture from the celebratory night surfaced online wherein the groom is spotted wearing pieces of tape under his chin. Soon after, netizens began speculating that Raghav did so to get a sharper jawline and to “hide his double chin”. In the portrait which is doing rounds on the internet, the bride is looking lovingly at her better half. The two are flashing their wide smiles.
As soon as this frame probably captured by the guests at the wedding reached online, eagle-eyed netizens spotted a tape surrounding Raghav’s chin and it left them curious. In no time, the click became a topic of discussion on social media platforms.
A user questioned, “What is that tape on his chin?” Another opined, “On the day of engagement he had a fatter chin and hence looked bulky from the face. They tried to give him a slim face but they should’ve left it as it was. It’s looking bad and so clear on pictures.” A third one wrote, “Double chin is”.
Parineeti-Raghav’s fairytale wedding
The actor-politician pair held a destination wedding in Udaipur on September 24, Sunday. They dropped the first photos from their dreamy affair the following day and within minutes, they were all over the internet. Since then, every minute detail from their wedding celebrations has been discussed.
For her D-day, Parineeti donned a resplendent ivory lehenga designed by her close friend Manish Malhotra. Later revealed that it took 2,500 hours to create the masterpiece that the actress wanted for her special day. Parineeti completed her look with a chunky emerald set, pink choora, and customised golden kaleeras. Her wedding veil had groom’s name engraved in Devanagiri.
On the other hand, Raghav wore a white and gold sherwani designed curated by fashion designer and his uncle Pawan Sachdeva. He opted for Sachdeva’s designs for other wedding festivities too.
Newlyweds Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha are expected to throw a grand reception for their friends and colleagues in Chandigarh.
