Marriages For Clout

In her candid conversation with Ranveer Allahbadia, Fatehi claimed that some people in the industry marry for money and to be in the right circles. She stated, “I see it happening in front of me, in the industry, people get married for clout.”

Without naming anyone, she shared, “Clout predators, they just want to use you for your fame but not with me. That’s why you don’t see me running around with guys or dating… but I see it happening before me. In the film industry, people get married for clout.”

This statement highlights the extent to which some individuals are willing to go to maintain their status and relevance in the industry.

The Calculative Nature Of Some Individuals

Fatehi added that some people are so calculative that they marry someone who has a few films releasing and is doing well at the box office just to ride that wave. She referred to these individuals as predators, indicating the manipulative and exploitative nature of such relationships.

The Sacrifice Of Personal Life

Fatehi expressed her inability to understand why some people sacrifice their personal lives, mental health, and happiness for work. She stated nothing is worse than marrying someone you don’t love and living with them for years. This statement underscores the emotional toll such relationships can take on the individuals involved.

“Money and fame…stuff that guys and girls will do, they destroy their whole personal life for money, fame and power. Nothing is worse than marrying someone you don’t even love and living with them for years. Most of the people in our industry are doing that nonsense. Just because they want to be in the right camps and circles. They want to be relevant, because they don’t know where their career will go. So, they need some backup plan – plan A, B, and C.”

Nora Fatehi’s Career

Despite her candid revelations about the industry, Fatehi’s career thrives. She was last seen in Kunal Kemmu’s directorial venture, ‘Madgaon Express’. Her performance in the film has been highly praised, and she continues to make her mark in the industry.
