Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is currently busy spreading a word for his upcoming comedy drama film ‘Jogira Sara Ra Ra’. He is going places to promote his film. In a recent interview, the actor was asked if he cares about the airport look like other celebs and if he takes the pressure of looking his best at the airport. To this, Nawazuddin shared his two-cents and took a dig at the actors who are obsessed with airport looks.

Referring to all those celebs who focus on airport looks, Nawazuddin said that they wear different designer clothes and put it on social media. It’s like promoting fashion designers. They are not concentrating on their acting, which is their main job.”

Opening up on the star culture in Bollywood, Nawazuddin said that he would just like to be called a good actor as he doesn’t wish to add the star tag to his name.

Nawazuddin stated, “Main actor hi rahoon yahi meri koshish hai. I want to be an actor with depth. However, when I get deep down into being an actor a fear seeps into me. An actor follows so many techniques in a different manner.”

Meanwhile, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s latest release ‘Afwaah’ along with Bhumi Pednekar, Sumeet Vyas and Sharib Hashmi is fetching him positive reviews. Sudhir Mishra has directed the film while Anubhav Sinha has produced it.

Nawazuddin’s forthcoming project ‘Jogira Sara Ra Ra’ also stars Neha Sharma, Mahaakshay Chakraborty, Sanjay Mishra and Zarina Wahab. The film is written by Ghalib Asad Bhopali, directed by Kushan Nandy and bankrolled by Naeem A Siddiqui. It will hit the theatres on May 12, 2023. Besides this, Nawazuddin has Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ alongside Avneet Kaur and ‘Noorani Chehra’ with Nupur Sanon in the pipeline.
