Bollywood actress Bhumika Chawla has made noise with her reunion with Salman Khan after two decades. The pair was last seen in the romantic tragedy film Tere Naam. It remains a cult classic. Their latest pairing Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan was released last Friday.

Recently, it has been known that the actress was supposed to be Shahid Kapoor’s leading lady in Jab We Met. She broke her silence on replacing Kareena Kapoor Khan. Check out the below for more.

 

The film Jab We Met is a romantic comedy. It is directed by Imtiaz Alli. It was released in 2007. The songs of the film became a chartbuster in no time. They were well received by the masses. Not many know,  but the film was initially planned with Bobby Deol. The title was decided as ‘Train.’

The actress Bhumika has recently expressed her disappointment in being replaced by Kareena Kapoor. She said that she felt bad when she signed Jab We Met but it did not happen. She added, “I was the first one, Bobby (Deol) and me, when it was called Train.”

The actress further added that it was then Shahid Kapoor and her. But at last, it was Shahid and Kareena Kapoor. She said that she had signed Munna Bhai MBBS too but it did not happen.

On the other hand, Bhumika Chawla added that after the success of Tere Naam she was offered several films. But unfortunately, they were not ultimately made with her. She felt sad but moved on.
