‘Pathaan Ki…’: Ranbir Kapoor Shuns A Reporter Who Asked Him About Bollywood’s Bad Phase!

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor is currently on a promotional spree for his upcoming film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. He appeared alongside his co-star Shraddha Kapoor at an event. During the conversation with media, Ranbir trolled one of the journalists who asked him about the bad phase of Bollywood.

In the video that is going increasingly viral on social media, Ranbir is seen giving a savage reply to a reporter. A journalist from BBC asked Ranbir, “Ranbir Bollywood ka abhi thora dicey chal raha hai.” He cut her in between and came with a savage reply. He cited the example of recent hit ‘Pathaan’ and said, “Kya baat kar rahi hai? Pathaan ki collection dekhi nahi tune?

As the journalist continued to ask another question, the actor inquired, “Pehle, aap kaunsi publication se ho (Which media publication you are from?)” After she said that she is from BBC, Ranbir mocked her and stated, “BBC News. Abhi toh aapke bhi kuch chal rahe hai na aaj kal…uska kya? Pehle woh jawab do.”

While the audience was left in splits on Ranbir’s words, netizens too had a good laugh on it. Several users reacted to Ranbir’s clip. One wrote, “Bhai savage.” Another quoted, “Epic especially the last one when he questioned the reporter.”

For the unknown, BBC came under the radar of Income Tax Department which conducted a survey operation at their  offices in Delhi and Mumbai. The reputed news organization was alleged of tax evasion.

Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor will be next seen in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. Helmed by Luv Ranjan, the movie will see him collaborating with Shraddha Kapoor for the first time. The film also features Dimple Kapadia, Boney Kapoor, Anubhav Singh Bassi and Rajesh Jais in pivotal roles. It is set to release on March 8, 2023.
